The scientific evidence is imperfect but it suggests that there are multiple safe and effective treatments for mood and anxiety disorders during IVF, pregnancy, breastfeeding and parenting. However, women and LGBTQIA+ individuals are often given conflicting, non-evidenced information or told that there are no treatments that are safe. Because of this, many do not get timely and effective treatment. I will help you figure out which treatments are right for you using a straightforward approach where you understand all your treatment options.
I can help you find a regimen that gets you feeling better faster and without causing unnecessary side effects, and I can also help you reduce your medication needs by using holistic strategies.
I will listen to you and hear your story, and then I will give you tools to help you understand yourself and free yourself from negative patterns so you get back to feeling like your normal self faster. I use methods derived from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic therapy.
Your sleep, nutrition, and exercise habits are the foundations of your health. I can help you take small steps that will create massive positive results in your well-being.
I can recommend supplements and plant-based medicines. If you already take supplements, I can help tweak your regimen to maximize benefits and minimize side effects. I can also check for dangerous interactions between any of the medications and supplements you are taking.
Even if your vitamin levels are in the "normal" range, it doesn’t mean that you are meeting all of your body's nutritional needs. I use the latest technology of lab testing to examine your functional nutrient levels and recommend supplementation based on the results
Variations in genes can affect response to treatment. I can use genetic testing to predict your response to and side effects from specific medications, and use this information to optimize your medication regimen.
I can teach you meditation and mindfulness techniques to improve your mood and help you manage stress.
Food can have an impact on how we feel physically and mentally, and you may have food sensitivities that affect your mood. I can provide advanced food allergy & sensitivity testing and guide you toward dietary changes to optimize your health.
